Nobody Likes Being in the Dark

Standard

Today was winter carnival day. It seems very Canadian to go outside and play when it is so cold outside that exposed skin will freeze in minutes. So that’s what we did. (I think it is in the by laws.)

We pushed each other around on dog sleds to top 40 music, rode a horse drawn sleigh and enjoyed maple syrup on the snow. Because that’s what Canadians do.

It was fun and the day also had party organizers blasting out encouragement for the dancing, tug of wars and lots of drinks and food.

We nearly froze but that is all part of the Canadian winter carnival fun.

Can’t wait ’til next year!
